MIND/BODY APPROACH
Dr. Baudino’s approach centers on a comprehensive, whole-child method that emphasizes predictability in parenting and supports the child’s overall health—considering aspects like diet, sleep, education, breathing, sensory processing, movement, and birth history. Her goal is to create an integrated approach that supports children in the home, school, and community, focusing on the connection between emotional well-being and physical health.
She believes that life challenges, illness, and trauma are not only mental states but are deeply felt in the body. Through movement, Dr. Baudino helps children and families process emotions, build resilience, and improve overall health. She uses Dance/Movement Therapy to support emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being, providing personalized care tailored to each individual. This approach also includes collaboration with parents, siblings, and educators to ensure a holistic, well-rounded treatment plan.
Dr. Baudino’s therapeutic philosophy integrates body-based therapies to support trauma release, sensory integration, and emotional regulation, along with cognitive-behavioral interventions and mindfulness. The goal is to empower clients to address their emotional, psychological, and physiological needs in a balanced way.
